Heute möchte ich, aus aktuellem Anlass, über die Moskauer Metro

berichten.

Leider ist der Anlass traurig, jedoch möchte ich in diesem Post nur

die schönen Seiten der Metro aufzeigen.

Eröffnet wurde die ‚Metropolitan’ im Jahr 1935. Sie umfasst 176

Stationen, eine Gesamtlänge von ca. 293 km und verfügt über das

tiefste Bahnsystem weltweit.

Berühmt ist die ‚Metro’ für ihre tiefen, langen und schnell fahrenden

Rolltreppen(die längste ist 126 m tief!) und für ihre sehr anspruchsvolle

und detaillierte Architektur.

Jede einzelne Station erzählt eine einige Geschichte und ist einzigartig

in ihrem Design. Zu den beeindruckendsten Stationen der Metro

zählen u.a. Komsomolskaja und Majakowskaja.

Due to (the sad) recent events, I'd like to give you some information
about the subway in Moscow – The Metro.

However, I’d like to concentrate on the happy and beautiful facts.

The opening of the ‘Metro’ was in 1935. In total, the ‘Metropoliten”

has 293 km of routh length and the deepest subway-system worldwide.

It became very famous for its fast and deep escalators (the deepest is

about 126 m!) and for its unique and impressing architecture.

Every station tells its own story. Some of the most impressing stations

are e.g. the Komsomolskaja and Majakowskaja.
